Al-Nuwaidrat Charity Society Honors Retired Assistant Principals and Senior Teachers on Teacher’s Day

In celebration of those who carry the noble mission of education, the Al-Nuwaidrat Charity Society held a modest honoring ceremony on the occasion of Teacher’s Day, recognizing 19 distinguished educators—retired assistant principals and senior teachers.

The honorees were presented with their awards by the esteemed educator Mr. Musa Makki Omran, amidst an atmosphere of celebration and appreciation for their dedicated careers in education.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Society’s Board of Directors noted that this event is part of the Society’s annual tradition on Teacher’s Day, aimed at expressing gratitude toward educational and teaching staff.

The ceremony featured addresses by Mr. Mohammed Ali Makki and Mr. Rajab Saleh, both of whom expressed their thanks and appreciation for this kind gesture. Mr. Jawad Hayyat also added a literary touch to the event by reciting a poem composed for the occasion.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the event’s patron, Mr. Musa Makki Omran, delivered a brief speech praising the pioneering role of the honorees and the positive impact they left within the educational field. With deep sincerity and loyalty, he also recalled the honorable legacies of two late, prominent figures—Mr. Ahmed Jassim Malallah and the poet Mr. Abbas Hilal (may God rest their souls)—affirming that their intellectual and human contributions will remain etched in the memory of future generations.
